Stock Picking and Backtesting Software

2

I've put together 3 new Quick Vid's (short instructional video's [-- no sound]) to help people get the most out of their software.

(I will continue to add more helpful videos regularly.)

These 3 go over how to rank sectors and industries for use in screens and reports.

As you probably know, most top-performing stocks are found in the top-performing industries. And studies have shown that an industry’s action determines at least half of a stock’s performance.

That being said, a stock in a top industry is more likely to do significantly better than a stock not in a top industry.

So how do you know?

By rating the industries!

By simply adding the value of an industry to your stock-picking screens or reports, you can ensure that you’re picking only those companies in the best sectors or industries.

You can define ‘best’ as the industry with the best Zacks Rating. Or maybe you’ll define it as the industry with the greatest % price change over the last 6 months.

Maybe you’ll define it as the industry with the best 3-5 year EPS growth.

However you define it, the Research Wizard is the tool to do it!

And these ‘Quick Vids’ will show you how to do it.

The first one shows you how to display the Industry’s Average Zacks Rank in a report. (The example screens for Zacks #1 Ranked stocks and adds the Expanded (X) Industry's Average Zacks Rank in the report.)

The second one shows you how to Screen for an Industry’s Average Rank. (The example screens for Zacks #1 Ranked stocks in only the X Industries with an Average Zacks Ranking of 2 or better.)

And the third one shows you how to display the Industry’s Average % Price Change over the last 6 months in a report. (The example screens for Zacks #1 Ranked stocks but displays the X Industry's Average 24 Week (6 Month) % Price Change to see which Industries have performed best.

(And remember, virtually any item that you can use for defining a stock's attractiveness, you can use for defining a ranking a sector or an industry.)

These ‘Quick Vids’ will help you in several ways.

1.) They’ll show you how to get even more winning
information out of the Research Wizard.

2.) You’ll learn even more about how to use the powerful ‘Calculation Expression’ feature.

3.) It’ll probably open up a bunch of new ideas for you as you become even more familiar with its functionality and versatility.

So check them out.
